what alternatives are there other than the Blackmarket Badaboom? $75 is kinda steep for a simple bar if you ask me. Saw the NS Bikes offerings, don't know who actually stocks those parts. Would like to get Al over steel, though. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

thanks for the links, CMC. isn't Nemesis Project defunct, or otherwise involved in some kind of scamming? I read some stuff a while back, but I really don't know enough to say for sure.

I searched for Sic components, I don't see those parts for sale anywhere.

I'm looking for aluminum due to the fact that all the steel offernings are substantially heavier, and yeah I guess I'm a sissy (with a herniated disc in my back) looking to keep things light.

I do not know if the bars are still available. But, I can say I had exactly zero problems with Nemesis. They shipped super fast. The bars have held up great as well.

Get the NS bars if you can. I've tried a bunch of the bars that are out there, and they are by far, the nicest ones. Steel, but not overly heavy. My second favorite set, were the Azonic Double Walls. Aluminum, and very light. Lots of upsweep. The 2.5" bars are more like 3" when you consider the upsweep.

Don't know about the pimps, but the atomlab Jesme bars were horrible. I got a set, and never even bothered mounting them up, the bend was horrid.

atomlab 3 inch pimp bars.
i did this out of boredom.
you wont find alot of 3 inch aluminum bars without a crossbar
cause aluminum just aint strong enough to handle those bends unless its multi wall
and butted by then its as heavy as a single wall cro mo bar that looks better.
weight weenie.
get a cro mo bar and drill 1/8 holes all over it.
drill holes in your head tube and bb shell too and brake lever to compensate for the cromo-ness
Ya, suuuure. I'm a weight weenie, you're an appearance whore. Bring your bike over, I'll aerate it first! Hahaha

Just wanna let you know we will have a new batch of Yowelli bars ready soon. 3.5" rise with a crossbar and 1.5" rise with no crossbar. They will be available in Black, White and Raw and are retailing for 70 dollars. They will also be brake friendly at 22.2mm straight thru. Shims will be provided if needed.

Stay away from Nemesis Project. You'll send him $70 and all you'll get is excusses as to why he didn't ship them.
i might have tried to defend them or give benefit of the doubt... but northshorerat's my bro and i know he's not messing around here. he's one handlebar short of a complete Molly build.

they were 70$. i'm loving them, exactly what i expected!
yeah, they look sweet on your build.

do you know if that 3.5" is measured from the center of the clamp area to the brake lever area... or a line horizontal with the ends of the bars... with 5 degree upsweep that will affect a lot.
