Like a couple others said - Ride to the Hills. It always made me want to ride, and I thought it captured the fun of just hanging out and riding with friends.

Also always liked Synopsis for some reason, (although it probably doesn't qualify as old yet).

The dude I bought my DH bike from was telling me about a movie that features footage of dudes freeriding in Central Park and other parts of NYC. From around the late 90's, early 2000's? Anybody know the title?

Fifth box on the right from the bottom: BIG & HARD??? WTF!!!

My favs are Headliners and Transcontinental. The siren at the start of Bromont begins the most intense and frustrating of any segment I've ever watched. Everybody owned!

Oh, and the video segment that hit home with me was the clip of Bender in one vid hucking that retaining wall at Deer Valley National. I walked up to the top of it the next year to look at what he was trying and realized at that moment that he is an idiot and nothing more. It wasn't even a lander. He did that crap knowing there was no landing and a vertical ditch would be his reward. :offtopic:

Another vote for Ride To The Hills.

I've since transfered it to DVD and watch it every so often. Dave Watsons segment to open still impresses. (Remember that crazy drift/burnout he did?) Ryan Leechs night trials session, and all of Wade Simmons footage.

In fact, Wade's segment is the crown jewel. "My brother says you're totally washed!"

I'm pretty sure the video was pulled because of "Ride the lightning."

Ride to the Hills is my favorite, also. I have a digitized copy of it on my computer. Best music of any bike video, too. Timeless classic.

Circus: One of the best movies to this date. Still have it on VHS, still makes me want to ride. Its the only "old" dh/fr movie thats actually still watchable.

FYI, you can probably find a cheap copy of Warwick Patterson's second film "Rise" on DVD and it has The Circus on the DVD as a bonus. I've got Circus on VHS and as backup on that DVD. It's my third favorite.

And to anyone out there who's not in the know, Warwich is a sick photographer and I believe he was also one of the primary filmers on the Freecaster World Cup coverage. I may be wrong on that last part though.

As a lot of people have said- Ride to the Hills. I don't like freeride vids nearly as much as race vids, but this one was great.

Transcontinental is the best older race video.
