Does anyone have a chart for weight vs spring rate for the 2009 Supreme DH?

Does anyone know what tune of shock to run on it?

My buddy is a ~190lbs and trying to run a 300#/in spring. I think it's way to light for him. I pretty sure he's suffering from the undersprung/overdamped way of thinking.:bonk:

Thanks in advance.

I am at 200 pounds, without gear on, and I run a 400#. Its at 30% sag. Make sure its measured when you are in standing riding position too.

Sag should be set first, then change the damping.

I figured he needed at least a 350#. He can be a little stubborn about stuff like this.

He tried running a 250# for awhile...:wtf:

All i can say is that sounds light and that your really a nice guy if you care about your buddy that much. When my buddys have stupid ideas i just smile and nod then think to myself "this b!tch is stupid he really is"

My friend and I both ride the '09 Supreme DH.
I'm roughly 230-ish and running a 550.
My friend is around 160-ish and is running a 400.
But,we run our bikes pretty stiff.

Do you guys know what shock tune the supreme runs? He switched out the DHX 5 for an RC4 and I'm not sure he has the right tune on it either. It rides like its a hard tail with the ass end skipping all over the place.
