Cru, let me know how you like that g-sport hub! I am considering it as a replacement.
I got one a couple of months ago for my 20. Same hub with 10t. It was a bit jumpy the first week or so I rode it but now I like it quite a bit. I mostly like having 30-10 gearing though. Alas, tis no profile...

The reason I am looking at the g-sport is that the driver rolls on needles bearings instead of cartridge (spherical) bearings. Supposedly this gives better load dispersion. I've been having issues w/ my current driver toasting bearings (and the axle isn't bent).

Thanks for the good words and stokage, guys. Yeah, I'm pretty excited to finally have them... it seems like it took forever! I'm super happy with the results... the colors look great, the frame and bar weights are respectable, and it really feels like the best frame I have ever ridden... which is exactly what we were trying to accomplish.

My photog and web designer friends are both out on vacation right now (and then I'll be gone for the holidays). So, it may be a week or so until we get the website functioning.

I built up a pearl plum grey one for myself last night. Loving it so far... but the trails are still too wet to ride!!

I want to at least ride mine hard for a few days to be 100% sure there are no issues (there shouldn't be... we tested the prototypes for 9 months) before I send them out. I should be ready to ship them next week. If for some reason, you really don't want to wait until we get the website going, PM me or email me at info@liquid-bikes.com and I will send you info (no pun intended).

Thanks again for all the support and feedback... I hope you guys feel like you were a big part of this project, because you really were. And sorry to all of you who get annoyed at all my posts and threads about this. Haha. :thumb:

Here are some pics of my bike built up and the bars. Specs on the bars:

6 inch rise
28 inch width
10 degree backsweep
2 degree upsweep
multi-butted 4130 chromoly
26 oz

Also, here are the prices:

Frame - $309
Bars - $54
Frame/bar combo - $340

Hit me up if you have any questions.

The pearl plum grey turned out sick. Hard to tell from this pic, but there is a cool purplish hue to it in the light...

Wow, cru. awesome work and way to follow through. walk the walk so to speak.

If I were in the market for a 24" frame, I would be all over that especially at that price!

how soon do you anticipate selling out... I think I'll definitely be interested after the holidays (or during depending on how much loot I end up with)
cool. how big of a batch was this first run?
They probably won't sell out that quick... we have a decent amount of them. Don't want to say exactly how many, because it's less than what the minimum order is supposed to be from that factory.

There are fewest of the blue... only 5 in each size (with a few already spoken for).

Cru, I'm seriously thinking about listening to my financially irresponsible side and snagging one of these. You seem like a rider who knows what's up, so I'm pretty confident that it will ride awesome. Question though: how does the cockpit feel compared to a 20? I ride 8" rise, 28" width bars on my 20, and was wondering if your frame and bar combo would give a similar feel. Obviously, all set ups are different, but it seems like every cruiser I've been on has handlebars that just feel "too low." I'd prob choose between your bars or the Sunday bars (which I believe are an inch taller), but I know it's because of the Model C's higher BB. Just curious.

Oh, and on a side note: Any plans for a disc version on a future production run??

Thanks for considering the frame. I have put a lot of thought into different bar sizes. I think the 6" bars make it feel the most like a 20" with 8" bars. The vertical distance between the bb and the grip area is actually a little more on our frame with 6" bars, than on a 20" with 8" bars. You're right about the Model C using taller bars because of the higher bb. The cockpit size on that frame/bar combo would probably feel similar to ours.

No, we probably won't do a disc brake version. We're trying to stay as bmx as possilbe with this... but it would be kind of rad to have that kind of stopping power! Using a disc would introduce a host of issues... hub spacing, peg use, etc.

Thanks, Greg! It should be pointed out that you made a progressive geo cruiser frame well before this project. Your "Daily Driver" frame was definitely an inspiration for our frame. Thanks again for the kind words and the order for the bars.... they shipped out today.

Just got my frame in the mail today. Gotta say that Jeremy got the order out hella quick. I shot him the money noon on Wed last week and even with the holidays it got here within a week. Thanks for the great deal and making this idea a reality! Will post pics when built, what sucks is I can't ride it till spring.

argh my seatpost wont fit, ****ing powdercoat on it makes it too thick. and my odsy evolver doesnt wanna cooperate with the brake post bolts. the spring cap has a beveled indent to match the included post bolts.
