What parts do I need to make a single speed dirt jumper drivetrain?

This will be my first single speed mtb dirt jumper. Please help!

It will be on this frame:

depending on hub, u might need a ss conversion kit, vertical dropouts require a chain tensioner in place of the derailuer, and of course a chain, cranks and a sprocket

Good to know about the tensioner. I thought I might have to get one. As for the ss conversion kit, isn't that some spacers and a rear cog?

What is good gearing for a jumper? Like 36-16 or something?

Yep, you can use the hub you have. Just get some spacers and a ss cog. Be sure to set the spacers so that your chainline is good. You can use the cranks you have. It's possible to do it without a tensioner, you can use a halflink, but that depends on your chainstays. As for the ratio, thats all preference. I run a little below a 2:1, but most people run 2:1 or a little above. If you can find a 30t front chainring, I suggest getting a 13 or 14 rear cog.

30:13 is pretty money...i use it but anything around the 2:1 ratio or a little harder works well
exactly right.

i opt for 30:14 because it is 55.7 gear inches which is pretty close to the classic BMX gear rollout of 55 gear inches.
