i am looking for a dh frame from the 90's. an overbuilt pig that can take a 3" rear tire. you know the one you wouldnt be caught dead on 10 years later. that beaten dog you have in the garage or basement. let me know what you have. the more beaten the better. one step away from broke is ok. i also need a fork like a monster t or stratos to go with it. let me know what you got. i got a project in the works.

I have a 2001 Karpiel Disco Volante that I am currently rebuilding, I have new frame bushings, new bearings and a custom made linkage that would allow an 8.5X2.5 air shock to be run on it. I still have the original linkage also, and I have the same year Marzocchi shiver.

The frame is in pieces since I was planning on taking it in for powder coating, but since have changed my mind and want to build up a transition double.

I can post some pics up later.

Want my 2nd gen Super 8 frame? Mint except the lower shock bolt loosens up.
Has a custom shock shuttle with a longer Romic shock & Ti spring for 9.25" travel. Cheap.

A guy that I work with has a Brodie 8-ball that he wants to sell. I think it has a Monster T on it too. If you're interested in it send me a PM and I'll get you his email address.

I woudl try to find and ellsworth dare. It's something I wouldn't be caught dead on 10 years later.
:)
You mean like this one?

I'm still caught dead on it, poverty sucks. That said no way you get a 3" rear tire on these babies. I have the "DH" version that only takes a 24" rear wheel and a 2.4 is as large as I can go...

You need to find a 2001-ish Kona Stab Primo. I remember they had the Shiver and Ohh That Rocky Mountain RMX! that had a Shiver on it too.

Check ebay I could have sworn I saw an RMX a couple weeks ago. I'm sorry if it's not there

I knew riders that had both bikes way back and they both $hitcaned the Shiver because of the weight.

AHH the memories... Hold me!
