So my school was on fire today....

It was just a small electrical fire in a 3rd floor bathroom. The funny part is that I walked by the bathroom at about noon and smelled smoke, but nobody actually discovered the fire until about 4:00 :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

As far as I've heard there is minor smoke damage, no structural damage.

I just think its strange that a fire could burn for over 4 hours in a school without anyone noticing... Oh well, hopefully I'll get a day off out of it!:thumb:


EDIT:I had bad information. I must have just smelled someone smoking in the bathroom because apparently somebody intentionally set the fire. Thats fvcked up.... oh well maybe ill still miss school because of it :thumb: http://www.myfox8.com/news/wghp-hpc-fire-100107,0,504313.story

That happened when I was in middle school. Some punk lit a fire in the trash with a bunch of wet/damp paper towels on top. $hit smoldered for a few hours before anyone knew.

Day off tomorrow? Teacher or student?

Once a bird flew into the AC vents and that tripped the fire alarm. Also, about every January, the water pipes freeze and explode and everyone needs to wait in the auditorium for 3-4 hours, rather than just calling off school. Dumb.

Somebody set off 3 military grade smoke bombs in our school. They thought it would be funny but the school went into lockdown and we had to sit in the smoke filled auditorium for 4 hours, not funny at all.

If you walked by at noon and smelled smoke, doesn't that mean that you noticed? Way to check it out and tell someone. :D

Saw it on the news, and as soon as I saw the title of your thread I figured it had to be central. That place always has some interesting things happening. I remember a few years back some kid almost got stabbed to death with a pencil.

yeah never a dull moment at that school... we hardly ever make the news for anything good. except our student section is always featured on friday night football. We get excessively drunk and shout obscenities at the other team for 2 hours. Its the most effective way to cheer on our athletes! I wish our basketball student section got that kind of attention.
