Ndub Productions will be hosting an independant downhill series in Port Angeles @ Dry Hill this year. We're starting early to take advantage of our low elevation and to extend the racing season in conjunction with the other great series happening around the NW. The trails are receiving a bunch of work to rehab the last couple years of use.

Race information can be found at:

Rad! Still gonna have that spring shuttler just for fun? The el nino winter might provide better conditions than last years. Fun no matter what though!

You can do as many or as few races as you like. There will be awards for each race and for the overall.

We are going to try to mix up the courses as much as possible so I can't tell you what trails you would ride, but the beginner course will only be as difficult as the speed with which you attack it. PM me if you need more reassurance.

aahhhh......I didn't realize there were different courses for the different classes....got it. Always wanted to get over there and check out the goods.Even back in the bike store days the whole crew would make plans to head over to PA then everyone would bail at the last second and go to Whistler or stay and play more local.I've heard it's super sick in the DH kinda way.

Do it! Seeing you ride, I could see you starting out (and even doing well) in Cat 2 (fka - Sport). You have the perfect bike for that place. It will definitely thank you for taking it. :D

If they do run a shuttle day prior to the races, be sure to be a part of that.

My good buddy Steve Johnson was nice enough to let us use his uber-leaf blower this weekend to clear leaves. Holy crap, it did that and a lot more. Leaves, branches and even rocks up to golf ball size are off the trails. And it was fast!! I was able to clear all but one trail in about 5 hours. We did a few runs and was reminded of how killer it is when you can actually see the dirt.

Lot's of work going on out here, trails will be like new come March!

Me and some buddies are looking to test ride some new DH bikes before making a purchase. I have been coming out to PA for the last 3 years for race and shuttle days and have never managed to make it out for a regular weekend. I have a huge truck that is a great shuttle rig... Who should I talk to to get a gate key I have always paid for the full membership because I want to support the great trail work and I knew this day would come. Anyways let me know, we will be coming down sunday am.

I recall Scott saying you are more than welcome to push/pedal(?!?) up any time. I'd imagine the ODS crew just ask you not park where you're blocking the road/gate, respect the property, etc. I'd guess once you get up to the parking area, it's not too brutal to get up the main hill. If it doesn't kill you, it only makes you stronger.

Yeah no problem riding there, it's just the vehicle access they try to limit. I've actually been pushing up a few times recently due to no one to ride with and it's not too bad, and Andy's right again it's a good little workout. It takes about 25 minutes to push up the road from the firepit to the start ramp. You might even get lucky and find someone shuttling up there, no guarantees though. I for one am heading to B-Ham this weekend for a much needed break from that place.
