Got laid off today.
It was a good run.
10 years in the broadcast industry & I am ready for a change.

I am going skiing tomorrow & getting drunk tonight.

He used that quote talking about lots of things & in one of the articles in the great shark hunt he uses it about TV. look it up.

thanks everyone. packed my box this afternoon & I can come back & work for the next two weeks if I want...yeah right. :rofl:

Gonna enjoy catching up on my sewing, reading, skiing & other projects I have in mind. then I plot my gypsy advntures!!!!!!

Freelance can be tough, but it's so much better for your mental health.

Networking, even though I hate the word, is key. I got on Facebook and hooked up with people I used to work with over the years and it's paid off nicely.

Best of luck man, sorry to hear it. Just don't go and get laid off then run into a tree while skiing on your time off like I did.
