I'm a little bummed that the Democrats lost their 60 seats (although I don't know how 60 became the majority).
But from a distance it looked like Coakley thought she was the heir apparent, taking a week off 3 weeks before the election. And didn't she make some odd comment about Fenway?
And Brown, when he got Schilling and Flutie standing behind him, he looked like a stud. But he did beat the streets and that matters.
Politics aside, it looks like Brown was the better candidate.
