Sweet, slack head angle and low bottom bracket. What more could you want?

nothing is ridiculous...when you dream.Hahahaha, I just realized with this picture how ridiculous the whole topic is.
dont forget that it has two shocks, because moar shimz is betterSweet, slack head angle and low bottom bracket. What more could you want?
agreed sir. This is simply one of the most awesome threads we have had on RM in a long time.....old school, hardcore and fun
I want. For the sheer ridiculousness of it all.To add a little.....
Big Link with SM
Agree....and it is a MTN-8 Siko is selling on the Big Link. An awesome bike with hands-down the coolest rear shock ever made (MTN-3). But you need to like old school and heavy bike to enjoy it. I ride old school setup as well...heavy, burly...great fun, good excersize, - but NOT a racer. We are talking back-country-huck-a-cliff-kind-of-bike .............however, I will never become a racer anywaysiko cycles has one of those for sale, with an mtn-8 or 10. It's absolutely awesome, for a little while, but way more than I'm willing to pay for a bike that will only get occasional use.
Almost as heavy as the other rides posted here...but it is ok, I like it and I almost never have to wrench on ithow is your bike looking now, seismic? you always had one of the coolest rides.
naarh...that went to someone else long time ago. It was a cool ride, but the HM is just more fun to rideAh, I thought you were still on the karpiel for some reason. Nice hit!
phreaking awesome. super rad end of the brooklyn era monument. how many of these did doc end up building?Almost as heavy as the other rides posted here...but it is ok, I like it and I almost never have to wrench on it
As far as I know, 5 HM were built. This is #1. And "yes", - I am definitely in favor of the revival of the heavy-tank-ass-drop/FR/DH-machine To be honest, I have never been much into the weightWeenie stuff when it comes to DH and FR. I know it may make sense in terms of competition use, but just not my cup of tea.phreaking awesome. super rad end of the brooklyn era monument. how many of these did doc end up building?
i think it's time for a retro tank bike revival (obvious reaction to the rampant weight weenie-ism).
you know...i love the sunday for it's geometry...but I really miss the RL for it's solid feel and easy reliability. Man that bike was tops when it came to anything besides cornering or lifting up. Super solid feeling.phreaking awesome. super rad end of the brooklyn era monument. how many of these did doc end up building?

Yes, the Silencer should be able to continue what the RL started.you know...i love the sunday for it's geometry...but I really miss the RL for it's solid feel and easy reliability. Man that bike was tops when it came to anything besides cornering or lifting up. Super solid feeling.
On that note, I'm really looking forward to the silenc0r for the same reasons. If it's as solid as the RL but combines the geometry that really makes a bike sing, I can't see a legit reason not to. Even my AVY vs. boxxer WC didn't show the huge difference in ride I expected it to. The biggest change was the trail/offset of the fork, which is much more comfortable at low speed on the WC.
I guess we'll see what happens...hope it happens soon!
i've never ridden an rl, but the superco is just mint. dialled modern geometry and that distinctive yet hard to quantify 'feel of steel'. solid? definitely. very very nice.you know...i love the sunday for it's geometry...but I really miss the RL for it's solid feel and easy reliability. Hmmmm - TMX, BL, RL......lot of nice memories of nice bikes from the times when a bike was about big and burly rather than light and flimsyright on...i know you rode a tmx for a while, so i imagine they share similar qualities. I have no idea on final price, but even with a steep entry fee, it could make up for it with ride and build quality.
It's a local bike. The guy races pro (will go masters soon if I remember right) and has some very non RM ideas about a bike (ie. he thinks than anything not in monster/sm weight is not durable enough ) You should see him ride that thing (or anyone really) I'll try to look for some vids with him riding this thing.
Hard not to notice this bike He's also on almost every race in here so he's really dedicatedYeah norbar he's is pretty well known person in your'e home country, seen him 1 time at the dirt masters festival.Pretty awesome too see
My old Karpiel was like this:Ah, I thought you were still on the karpiel for some reason. Nice hit!
Is there any chance you have any more photos of his bike?
