Good Morning!!

It's black ice all over the road this morning making the commute super-treacherous. I still had to use 4WD to get out of the driveway today. Supposedly, we've got more on the way by Friday. Winter's last hurrah. We're just not equipped to handle this sort of stuff when it gets this bad and my town just said "fvck it" when it came to plowing.

Running off of a skeleton crew this morning, so that inevitably means we're going to get more calls than we can handle.

"LOST" returns tonight. I know where I'll be.

Happy Groundhog Day. Hope that rat sees his shadow! I miss the New Orleans version of this day, we had a Nutria look for his shadow. If he saw it and a drunk didn't pee on him, Mardi Gras would come in 2 weeks.

I subscribe to the divine method of snow removal. God sent, let him get rid of it.

It's GRRRRRROUNDHOG DAY! Just another day in the hamster wheel, I suppose. I watched the first episode of that "Spartacus" series on Starz last night. It seems that they added copious amounts of blood and gore just for the sake of adding blood and gore...kind of like "Kill Bill", only not entertaining.

Hit the gym last night, though I laid off the cardio. My friggin hamstring keeps acting up ever since knee surgery. The knee is fine but the hamstring keeps nagging me. Meh.

Didn't have to work on a crapper yesterday, so I had that going on for me.:thumb: I also started on a running training program. Did 30 minutes worth of intervals around the hangar yesterday afternoon. I'd like to do Bolder Boulder with the wife this year, and maybe start doing some triathlons, but I suck at teh running so a rigorous training program is going to be mandatory.

Good morning!
Just working today, then hitting the gym this evening. I'm still looking for a trainer so I can spin at home, but at this pace it will be Spring before I buy anything and I can just ride outside.

Got half the floor installed yesterday. I have to move all the stuff in the living room onto the new floor to finish installing the rest of the floor.

Dropped off one of our dogs to get an MRI so BigT can make an informed decision about what to do with her.

Happy Tuesday! The ride in this morning was glorious. Everything had a thick thick layer of frost so my tires made that cool thick shooshing sound. My cross bike is soooo dirty from winter commuting that I hate to even touch it. Tonight I'm skate skiing with some teammates. Should be dangerous and fun all at the same time.

Morning west coast peeps (afternoon E.C.ers) Nice (but rare) sunny day here in Portland, OR. Temps in the mid 40's. Not much planned for today. Being unemployed is a real bitch. Might go for a run this afternoon. We shall see....

Afternoon all. BUSY morning here and I feel like I am running around in circles right now, but atleast the mountain of copying got done! Now I am off to a "pep rally" which should be entertaining at the very least.
