OK....She's ugly...no question about it. But, mannnn, she's got one hell of a personality!

Snow tranny!

Another snow tranny. There was a huge tree to the right a few weeks ago.

Fresh tracks.

Mortero Rock.

If I had only gotten my finger on the trigger a second earlier, I would have caught a spectacular endo!

Not a lot of opportunity to get her in the air today. Next week!

Brian Ohh, on the Roman Wall.

And, in reverse.

The Gordo rims performed flawlessly.

Got in my 3rd ride on the purple beastie this afternoon. The plan today was to get a bit more aggro, up the amplitude, and see how she felt in the air. Still getting aquainted with her likes and dislikes. It was such a stark contrast as to how this bike felt in the air compared to the Sultan Proto I rode a few years back. This bike obviously is set up for more aggressive play than what I was on the last time. Slacker head tube angle, Beefier wheels. Better tires. Better brakes. Longer travel fork with through axle. And, a better fitting cockpit. I didn't get too nuts with it, today. I still need to play around with air pressures fore and aft. But, I can tell she's pretty comfy in the air.

Anyway, here's a few shots from today's ride.

more pimp points gained, I dig the "normal" XTR versus that shadow crap.

I say that we should either use a derailleur that works and could be ripped off, or no derailleur at all. Not one that sort of works and can still be ripped off or bent by a stick.
