I guess its funny because the GT40 was an animal compared to an aston or maserati.

Same way a Superco is superior to an NS or a dartmoor.
But heck what do I know. I guess you have to be a NYer to know how great Brooklyn was when Doc was there and before they sold out to the hipsters.
Would be nice if Superco built Anson's frame but unfortunately the uneducated would probably still buy that pos contraband.
^^^what a d!ck. you love to argue don't you? All the frames mentioned are great frames with marginal differences which come down to personal preferences.

No need to call me names because I don't like dartmoors NS I like the Majesty and that's it. Why pay a bunch of money to import a frame when a Superco is a better frame and more people have respect for the company.
This website is turning into Pink Bike.

you seriously base what frame you want on if people are winning contests on them? no contest riders ride a tonic fab, but if i were to get a 26" again it would most likely be a howie. superco it's the same deal. small company, dialed frames. you should support them

Simple more people drool or envy a Superco then a dartmoor.
Plus the quality of a Superco or a Tonic is top shelf. I don't think an NS or a Dartmoor can even come close.

ps. quickneonrt:

make an excel spreadsheet of all frames mentioned in this thread, then report to us all the deviances amongst them all. if theres a legitimate patriotic correlation at all, ill give you a bj. if not, just shut up and understand that everyone does it different.

and we're all on this forum for a reason, why try and separate us all? the site is RIDEmonkey. we ride, not bicker.

and really, your username says it all. neon r/t, nothing quick about it. if you made it quick it was from some cheap import tuner muscle anyway.

prove me wrong.
That is where you are wrong. The neon can be a fast car light as fvck. The companies that make parts for them are American not cheap import crap like a civic. Also wish I could change my name haven't had the neon since 05. Moved on to better things.

Bikes are personal preference. I personally would buy other frames over an ns or Dartmoor.
The Majesty is too long for me and the dartmoor is just ugly.
I like smaller local companies, sorry. Like Dobermann which is not American Superco, Tonic, Sinister I know they are made in Canada, Soul Cycles, Even Transition,Twenty6, Point One, they usually have better customer service and are more personal to deal with.
If I needed warranty work or had questions I want a company that is easy to deal with and not worry about sending something overseas.
Just my preference. Support the smaller local.companies.
Companies with limited or no distribution in the US are a bitch to deal with. I have an 09 Commencal Absolut 4x and it is pain and expensive just to get a derailer hanger.

so true thats why i don't deal with such companies, not that i dont like their product, it just becomes way too big of a hassel if something goes wrong. Even when companies change distributors (which often happens with these small euro companies) warrenty and customer service becomes nearly impossible

What are you basing this off of? Facts? No. Your just on their dicks. I can't help it if the frames I want are made in Poland, russia, ect..
from having seen and delt with many ns, brooklyn (basing superco's quality of doc's previous work), dobermann, and basically everything worth mentioning out there it is quite easy to see what is of phenominal quality and what is just par. dobermann, brooklyn (superco), sinister ect are all works of art when looking at them and it even comes through in the ride. ns reminds me alot of eastern in the bmx industry, nice idea's good weight and a decent reputation but at the heart of it all they are just ok frames and product and i have a feeling the dartmoor is the same, looking the the brake mount and the tubing junctions i just dont think the care and detail is there thus the quality isn't there. Im willing to bed the caliper mount on the dartoom is very thin and fragile (most wont run brakes anyways but still) i have seen many mounts become squished crushed and deformed due to sub par building and designing and many of companies choosing to not warrenty by calling it neglect or just riding damage which is total bs.

anyways if you go for the dartmoor best of luck i hope its a gem and not a lemon, let us know how it works out especially a year from now

Jeez you New Yorkers and Jersey queers are gay as a fvcking parade :) Who cares what frame the kid buys? Is it really worth arguing over? I ride for Spank, but I want to see this kid build up a Dartmoor. I'm super interested in seeing him build up a bike that none of us are riding. Variety bitches.

exactly.
this sunday i saw a broken top tube on a American built frame that i would never in a million years think would break. and it wasn't warrantied, so i guess even works of art aren't perfect.

nothing wrong with variety. i rode a tonic forever, love the fallguy, and i switched to a NS not because i couldnt afford another American frame.
here in nyc, i only know of one other dude besides me who has a NS. i've seen and rode one NS Capital my whole life and decided to get one, because price and all the numbers looked proper and it was more readily available then some other frames. i've seen videos of kids doing wild **** on these frames, stuff i'll never do - so i know it will hold up for me. plus i want to have something no one else does. And i remember when NS appeared on the map a few years back as a tiny weird Polish company, with this dude named Earnes killing it on one of the frames, and i've always paid attention to them.

all bikes are fun.

Sorry but Dobermann is Canadian. I own 2 Dobermanns a Commencal, an Orbea road bike, a Sinister, a Transition, several Specializeds only one of which is an American made Specialized and soon a Giant. so it has nothing to do with an America kick.
I would like to keep money in this country and help our economy but it is impossible.

As for American bikes cracking, I have seen a few BLKMKRTs crack, Brooklyn Gangster track bikes also. Them again when Doc left BMW it was falling apart as a company any way.

Yes foot jams are gay. People blame forks and wheels for breaking or bending....no dumb ass stop sticking you foot in it.
And yes brakeless is stupid not to mention dangerous. Gee I would rather ruin $60-$80 sneakers every few weeks then add a $50 brake and minimal amount of weight.

That's what's wrong with America, there's too many logs and too much mud.

Actually I can't wait till my knee gets better, cuz I can't wait to start ripping the DH trails near me.
