Later trail. It was nice knowing you.

And we all know that J _ _ _ S is next.

Be careful out there, guys. Tickets are prime, and the trails remaining life is very, VERY short.

I think certain other trails around there might be too steep to get a bobcat up.

Mailboxes would be pretty easy to doze because of how flat a lot of it is.

That's true, but there's a lot of stuff to knock down and the other trail is very, very easy to ticket. If Mailboxes isn't much of a problem, I don't see what's to stop them from moving on down the line and taking out the next "big problem".

1. I like jumps and those jumps were a lot of fun and well built
2. I've ridden that trail for 20 years in many different configurations and had fun every ride. There have never been a dozen plus doubles on MB before this.
3. I want to ride this trail for the next 50 years with my kids and grandkids
4. The California State Parks are hurting for cash
5. If someone breaks their neck on a man-made obstacle that could have been removed by CSP they could successfully sue the California State Parks.
6. The California State Parks removed man-made obstacles to avoid liability they/we can not afford right now
7. The California State Parks did not put up barbed wire fences, cut trees, stack brush, etc, etc to completely block/destroy the trail.
8. If we build it back up again and again with larger and more numerous obstacles every time they are taken down what choice do we leave the CSP with? It's not impossible to completely make a trail impassible on a mountain bike, in some cases permanently.

What will we do?

I understand your concerns and agree with some of them.
1. The trail is wide enough to have "go arounds". These need to be in place for equestrians and hikers alike.
2. The new stunts were labled, some of them.
3. Wasn't a big fan of the low speed jumps on a high speed trail, it took away from the flow.
4. They have money to go in and spend a good day or two with equipment and demo a trail!?

Heard a rumor that a certain unmetioneable trail starting wiht a "J" was going down today!??? How do they have $ for that? If they bring in Bobcats they'll destroy the enviroment so, it's going to be at least 4 - 6 workers on the State budget

I'll believe it when I see it. Maybe you can tear out a few jumps, but I don't see how you could get rid of the trail. I'll bet it's rendered more un-rideable after tons of people ride it in the rain than if 6 dudes with mcleods go up there and try to tear stuff down.
