Im over here now
Amy and I finally got a dog. we've been looking since around December and finally found one that we like that didnt get sick and die.
he's a hound/lab/whatever else. he's around 3 months old and joins our other two mutts in our house

ya my girlfriend owns a 2 yo great dane and this valentines day she got me a lab/german shepherd puppy from the humanes society two days ago the great dane landed on him and we thought he broke his leg, but after taking him in it looks to be just a bad sprain and hes already putting more pressure on it :thumb: cute puppy definitely looks to have plott hound in it great name too good work with the rescuing :D

Some kind of brindle somethinorother in that thing...rotty maybe? Cute pup, and put me down for a good on the rescue! :thumb: both of mine are rescues, one way or another...

my aussie has been trying to heard the little guy around. he always ran in circles making left turns only making me think he liked Nascar, but now i can see him actually use his herding instinct

So did the shelter ever tell you what illness the other two eventually died from?

Edit: How do you know that it would have gotten your dogs sick?

one of the dogs got Parvo and part of all dogs' vaccinations is to get a Parvo shot. We never found out what happened to the second dog. all they kept telling us is that most of the dogs from the litter get too sick and we never heard anything back from the shelter after that even after numerous emails.

hmm this guy doesnt seem to want to eat his food so much. any ideas?
they were feeding him three times a day, but he hasnt really eaten much since we got him Saturday afternoon

My 2 little dogs don't eat all that much. I feed them twice a day but they typically only eat the food at night. Big dog usually sneaks the food out of thier bowls.

Your new dog looks like my sister's hound mix.
