What hubs did you use for your custom rear wheel build?

Needs to be 135mm spaced, QR or 3/8" bolt on. Preferrably with the ability to run a cassette if desired.

For hubs I'd always say Hope (must have had 15+ hope hubs in my time)

may not be the absolute best hubs available but for reliability/weight/cost they are v.hard to beat but my reason for choosing them is that their customer service is easily the best of any mtb company I've ever dealt with!

I guess I should have said that I obviously want a Hope more than anything, but cant really justify paying that much for one right now.

The one im considering is a Shimano XT 756. Any thoughts?

If the Hope rear ss hubs are anything like the front Hope I run along with the Profile set up in the back, you should be fine either way. Chain Reaction always has good prices, picked up the front disc hub in red for $50...

my rear wheel is hope hub and arrow rim. 7 years old no problem.

if i were to build a new one i'd probably go profile. but super happy with hope.

xt hubs are fine. dt hubs are nice too.
