Guys with custom build rear wheels?

Laced a Pimplite to a Profile ss. Best rear wheel decision I've ever made...
I agreez with JGILL. Get one of the colored pimps and a profile or hope hub. Nothing is better.
For hubs I'd always say Hope (must have had 15+ hope hubs in my time)
may not be the absolute best hubs available but for reliability/weight/cost they are v.hard to beat but my reason for choosing them is that their customer service is easily the best of any mtb company I've ever dealt with!

I actually got this front hub in white and it is the strongest and fastest rolling front hub I have ever owned.

If the Hope rear ss hubs are anything like the front Hope I run along with the Profile set up in the back, you should be fine either way. Chain Reaction always has good prices, picked up the front disc hub in red for $50...
my rear wheel is hope hub and arrow rim. 7 years old no problem.
if i were to build a new one i'd probably go profile. but super happy with hope.
xt hubs are fine. dt hubs are nice too.
