I got $37.22 back this year. I need a good knife so i might get that, but I'm sure when I get in there I'll end up getting a head start on next years dividend.

Also I had $124.24 in "nondividendable sales"... What is this? Clearance items maybe?

Between the dividend and 20% off one item coupon I was able to get a complete Thule roof rack setup for the car for less than 1/2 retail (feet/load bars/fairing/locks).

Non-dividendable stuff is indeed clearance or "garage sale" items.....sucks because I usually have a few hundred dollars worth of purchases in that category every year.

I think this may be the first year that I didn't buy anything at REI. Man having a kid sure slowed me down/made me broke. In high school after I got my first job my first dividend check was almost 200 bucks. Damn I bought a lot of sh*t that year.

i've been using my dad's account by mistake but he hasn't bought anything there, i wonder if he'll give me the dividend. I could use an XC helmet or a new trail pump.

27 bucks, not sure what to get.

But they got my money out of me, 554 dollars of undivendable purchases...I just can't help buying stuff when they have it on sale.

I'm a tight wad. We have a place called Diamond Brand Camping center down the road from REI. They've been there for a long, long time and have their own seperate overflow/clearance store next door. They have awesome sales and the owners are local. Plus they do this gear trade where you buy your kids stuff there, trade it in and get 35% off your next purchase of kids stuff next go round. Can't beat that.

Plus, I'm a tight wad and can't get myself to spend the money they want for that membership.
