There was a place downtown Seattle on mercer (or near it) I used to drive by every day that speicalized in roof racks....I can't remember what it's called

If REI has it why not get it from them? If you are going to buy new any store will have pretty much the same price. Besides with REI's membership you'll get back that 10% next year.

I also got mine off CL, and saved a bunch of $$$

Yo, I got this set of roof racks for 55 bucks off overstock. Definatelty the cheapest you can get roof racks anywhere. One, the skagman racks are cheap to begin with, then overstock is super cheap. THey seem to have good reviews too, and lock. Havent gotten them yet, but look for ward to it. I dont see why you need a brand name, I mean these should work.
