Don't think you could go wrong with either one really. I own a Pitch Pro and love it. But I have no experience with the Reign 2.
hey, what size and weight is your Pitch. ill probably need a large

thanks

Im about 5'10" and got a medium, which fits me perfect. I also put a Lyrik U-turn coil and a few other upgrades on the bike, and it's about 32-33 lbs now.

Both seem like great bikes. I am a big Specialized fan, but in this there is one thing that drives me towards the Giant and that is the fork. Fox FLoat with the 15QR is really nice. On the Pitch the specs don't say what the axle is so I am guessing a standard QR. That being the case the 15QR is the way to go. besides that they are pretty similar and I am sure you will have a blast on either.

Pike that comes on the Pitch has a 20mm thru axle (maxle 360).

Is there any way you can ride both of them?

I was originally looking at a Pitch, however after riding one, I'm not a fan. The bike had an odd riding position. It feels kind of "stink bugged" with the rear end way up in the air and the front end low, even with tall bars. I'm typically a fan of running a low front end, but the Pitch feels odd.

The Reign we found really devours the terrain well. It's very plush and efficient in climbing.

Either way you'll get a nice bike. I personally prefer the ride and riding position/geometry of the Reign.

im not sure about riding them both but theyll both probably be extinct by the time i have enough money, lol

anyway, do you think the Pitch was just set up differently than how you would set it up, maybe adjusting the shocks would change how it felt. idk, just thinking out loud, im too new to all this and dont really know

thanks

I was in a very similar position you are. I was looking at both and kept going back and forth. I finally settled on the Reign. I'm a big Giant fan and I found a great deal for a Reign 0 with a Fox Talas on CL and went with that and I am loving it. The trails just thawed where I am and I can't get enough of my bike. I still like the look of the Pitch and I've always liked the Pike but I just found a better deal on the Giant. I'm 6' and 215 and I got a large. Good luck on your decision. Enjoy which ever one you choose.

The Reign is the way to go here.

It's a more efficient frame with a better parts spec.

I've got an 06 Reign 1 which I got after having an Enduro. I've never looked back.

Umm.. not really. But you're entitled to your opinion. :thumb:

I had the opportunity to ride both bikes, and decided on the Pitch. But as I mentioned, I dont think you could really go wrong with either bike.
