Hey guys,
Im searching for the evil sovereign geometry but it seem that each and every sites that ive searched have different figures and combinations. Some says that the head angle were 68, 68.5 and 69. The seat tube angle were 70, 71, 71.5, 72 and 72.5 respectively. Which combination is the correct based from the happy users out there.

Depends on your fork. You should be able to find Evil's own geometry charts posted on this site from when the frame first came out (2004, IIRC; might try searching for posts by me or Binary Visions...), and the current geo charts for the new line on the Evil site, if they've changed anything..

What kind of seatpost/size are y'all running on the old Sovereign? I'm building one right now and it's almost impossible to find the right size.

guys, thanks for the info.

New sovereigns are a bit slacker than the old ones but how it compaires with the old ones? What do you think with this combination head angle 68 / seat tube angle 71 or 72?

Im planning to use my old 2003 Z1 FR fork and SS set-up.

Drkenan, is it possible that your bike is missing the required seatpost insert/shim?

It's a silvery alloy shim; looks pretty much just like other seatpost size adapters from Kalloy or whatever. No idea on the dimensions.

Ok - actually I do have it. For some reason I was having a hard time getting one seatpost to fit, but I got another one to work. Think I might build it up today.

Love this damn thing, I have it set up as single speed right now 36/18. Will get a pic once it gets over here to Germany...

Its plenty slack with a 150 fork, on most trails back home I feel like I am going faster on the Evil than I ever did on my DHR or 7point.

Mine's an oldschool street-sign green from the first run; been through many incarnations and is now a rigid singlespeed. The locals approve. And we all know locals rule.
