Found this bike today, what woudl you say is a fair price for it? Guess its only been ridden a handfull of times.

STP 3 is the very lowest model. The frame is built with lower quality tubing.
You should be able to find one BRAND NEW for about $350.

Well dude got back to me today saying that he would take $200. Thinking about doing it because I cant find chit in my price range.
I love the geo on my stp. Great aggressive trail bike, decent jumper and street rig. Works as advertised.
I even have a 430mm seatpost on it so I can climb.

Are most of the parts stock? Or has he used all the good parts to put on another bike?
I know the STP 3 comes with the lowest spec but if it's got V Brakes it's either very old or was potentially purchased relatively cheap as a parts donor for another bike!!!
And to whoever said the frame was lower quality...not true, the frames are the same throughout the STP range apart from coming in two different sizes.
Just do your research and make sure he hasn't transferred the ****ty parts from a cheap XC hardtail onto that, then you're pretty much just buying it for frame value (STP frames I think are somewhere around $150 -$250Au 2nd hand, the latter being for spanking new ones)
