Shimano Brake Lever questions (current Saint levers on '05 XT brakes?)

Hey guys,

I need new levers for my 2005 XT brakes that are on my trail bike. I have 2010 Saint levers on my DH bike. I was thinking of getting some Straightline levers, put them on the DH bike, and throw my Saint levers on the XTs.

Anyone know if it's possible to put my current Saint levers on 5 year-old XTs? And, for that matter, if the Straightline levers fit the current Saints?

Straitline makes lever blades only.
I have never seen straitline lever blades for the newer saint m810 levers.

What your proposing does not make sense.

The newer Saint 810 levers will work with older XT 760, 756 or 755 calipers.
They will actually feel more powerful with the new style levers.

You can get the older style shimano levers cheap on ebay. Either do that or spring for a set of new brakes.
