It was easier than I thought it would be. Already had some 823 wheels that I was tired of dealing with flats on. Mounted some 2.5 High Rollers last night with two scoops of Stans. Everything seated up really easily, although I would say an air compressor is required to get the pressure to bead the tire. Air leaks out extrememly quickly the first couple times I filled it up until I got a chance to swish the Stan's around inside. Overall, it was pretty simple. I guess I will see tonight how much pressure they are actually holding when I get home from work.

Ive had the same high rollers mounted on a set of 823s for about 15 months now. If i lose pressure between rides its not much. The seal has been very reliable for me. Ive been using 823s +tubeless tires for 3 seasons now. Only the rocks of massnutten have given me trouble, a 2" tear at that, it would have cut anything.

I ran the same setup on my rear wheel last year with a tubed DHF on the front. Over the course of a few days the rear would lose noticeably more air than the front, but all in all, it was a trouble-free setup.

Haha yea. I had already been planning on it. I ordered tires and got shipped single plys. So I had to just go exchange them for dual plys. Really looking forward to hopefully not dealing with flats any more. Checked the wheels when I got home last night and they are holding pressure really well. Should be ready to rock. I hate you since you will be in the big W this weekend and I won't be able to ride at all.
