I'm thinking about doing some riding memorial day weekend. I'd like to find some trails that i can spend a few days riding. I'm looking for a cross between XC trails and freeride trails. I've got some friends that are more into xc riding and I'm more of a freerider or at least some gravity assisted trails with berms and jumps and what not. Or some trails that are more suited for a Santa Cruz Blur 4x. My plan is to find a campground and camp near the trails, ride all day and come back and sit by the fire and grill some burgers after. I'm not opposed to driving 4-5 hours to find a place either, so if anyone has any suggestions I'd really appreciate it.

Leavenworth is a good option, lots of burly XC and go to the local shop and ask about the FR stuff. There are plenty of camping options too

Leavenworth is good...closer than Canadia...

If you're not opposed to driving and you've got your passport, you could camp in Squamish or Whistler...Trail maps abound.

If you want to keep it close to home you could spend a day riding Galbraith, a day riding in the Chuckanuts, and maybe catch Anacortes on the way home and stay at Larabee state park the whole time.

I plan to get up there this fall :thumb:
WHAT! You guys are actually going north? ;) Fall is great in that area. Lots of the good stuff you both like.

Back on thread: Everything in that description will be packed. Stevens Pass on Monday is a parking lot too so go over Blewett/Snoqualmie instead. Some dispersed camping in the valley and something for all your tastes though. Farther East is Devil's Gulch/Mission Ridge/Red Hill/Red Devil which is all good too. And, Sage Hills beyond that.

Over 90, the Taneum area will fit that bill best. Classic XC and some shuttle runs too. But, you'll be sharing the system with motos as well.

Staying on the wet side? Capitol Forest maybe. Pretty much every other decent camp spot will be packed if we have nice weather.
