Note from Peter, the Grand Opening event master...

Join King County and the Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance as we celebrate the opening of Duthie Hill Mountain Bike Park on Saturday, May 22. The party starts at 9:00 am and runs until 4:00 pm. The park is located on Duthie Hill Rd on the Sammamish Plateau. All the trails are finished, dialed in, and ready to ride. A whole bunch of bike companies will have plenty of bikes to demo. There will be a BBQ and beer garden, a raffle with some really cool prizes, and some fun and games as well. So make plans now to attend.

We could still use some help setting up Friday and we also need a couple more people to volunteer on Saturday for one hour.

Also, we need a good clunker bike and 3 more pixie bikes.

The primary parking lot for the 5/22 Grand Opening is at the LDS Church off of Duthie Hill Rd:

There will be signs and a path guiding you east through the woods into Duthie Hill Park.

The normal Duthie Hill Lodge parking lot will be full. And obviously there will be no space for parking in the clearing.

Please do not park alongside Issaquah-Fall City Rd or Duthie Hill Rd during the event.

The LDS church has graciously offered their lot for 2 Duthie events -- this 5/22 Gd Opening and an XC Race on 6/19. **PLEASE** do not park in their lot any other time.
