Wow it's been awhile! I just wanted to drop in now that I am riding again. I took a little hiatus from biking after Dahlia was born, but now I am just starting to get back on the bike and wanted to share my new bike and some riding pics.
Ozzer helped me celebrate my return to biking with a new DH bike, including some really sweet custom decals that matched my seat.
Oh yeah, the bike
My first test run was on Saturday during practice at Fontana, but I was a little rusty and not comfortable with the course. I came away feeling a little bummed wondering where all my skills went.
On Sunday, in an effort to increase my confidence and get me excited again Oz took me to a local DH spot where I could do run after run and work on feeling comfortable again.
I was a little hesitant my first run
But after some time on the bike I was starting to feel more like my old self again.
All in all I'm really glad to be back on a bike again and glad to be back posting here. Hopefully I will have more ride reports for you in the near future.

Props on getting back on the DH bike again. I still don't DH all that much...not nearly as much as the summer before I was prego! Maybe a sweet new bike would inspire me too
