Hi, just need some advice on my rockshox dart 3 forks, i am just over 10 stone and am only getting 50-60mm of travel even on very rough terrain, is there a way of improving this

Get a new fork.

It is very low end with no adjustability. Better forks will be stiffer and plusher, and be able to tune it to your weight.

to fix your fork....

it sounds like the seal of your rebound damper, as leaked on the inside. it will cause the feeling you're getting. whats happening is all the oil from the top of the leg is just sitting in the bottom of the fork all the time.

you need a new rebound damper installed. there was a large batch of those forks that came with bad rebound dampers.

Darts are netoriously bad for being stiff. My dart 1 was beyond stiff (maybe used 40mm of travel at most), and everyone i know with any of the dart forks has had the same problem.

The only thing i figured out that helped fix the stiffness is this:
rip the entire thing apart, put a retarded amount of grease all over the seals, put the lowers back onto the stantions and then put about 30cc's of suspension lubricant in each of the stantions.

its a temporary fix, it works for like maybe 4 hours of riding then you have to redo the entire process (it only takes like 5-10 minutes when you get good at it).

or you could save time and just get a new fork.
