Towing the party line.

One of the biggest purses in MTB is the US Open, and it gets underway later this week in Mountain Creek, New Jersey. So far the weather is looking good, so it's bound to be an excellent weekend. Team Monster Specialized, Trek World Team, Team Transition Bikes, Gee Atherton and more scheduled to attend.
---

Stay tuned to see who can take home the $7500 before they head back off to Europe for round 2 of the downhill World Cup!

I'm aware that vernon is the town, and that mountain creek is the resort. No one knows what the hell vernon is.
Steve can only be negative about anything Diablo/Mountain Creek... ignore him

He surely would not have corrected someone for saying Platekill, New York was location of the Pro GRT last week

ANYWAYS! A number of teams at the Pro GRT this past weekend will be heading down for the Open this week. Lotta riders looked real fast this weekend... should be an exciting US Open!!

I know it's kind of last minute, but does anyone have a bike I could borrow (rent) for Giant Slalom? I have an itch to race but I only have a DH bike and I can't stick around for Sunday's DH final.

I can provide Beer of your choice and funny stories...

the new step up off the fire road looks like a good place to spectate from.

prediction:
Sam
Brendan
cant decide between Gee, Bryn, Stevie and Needles for third...

Mosely seems like the obvious for womens

what race has a bigger purse than the Open? $7500 is a butt load of money for first.

I can bring my Evil Sovereign but it's only a frame, fork and headset right now.
