Ive been a Flyers fan all my life, thanks to my dad. They are so inconsistant, its hilarious, but I'm so stoked to see them get this far! Its really looking promising! GO FLYERS!

Byfuglien is running wild! Who thought it was a good idea to give Darren McCarty a mic? Get you teeth fixed, cure the hangover and lose the lisp...then stop bagging on the Hawks.
I like Dmac, of course as a wings fan there is not any way you can't. He fills in on our local radio mroning show every now and again and the dude does great on the radio, in the NHL studios, well, I am biased, but he isn't nearly as entertaining as he is on the radio.

Now I just hope Hossa falls on his face.

A great sweep by my guys..now we need the Habs to stretch the E Conf series a bit...

Duncan Keith is a beast. Lose 7 teeth and come right back? Stud, 1 ea.

You know, I liked him as a player. Gritty, tough, with some good hands. But I cant believe they couldnt find another retired player with a suit or two that wanted a chance to run his cake hole for some $$. Denis Potvin was doing a nice job there for awhile...where did he go?

As for Hossa, third times the charm!

Well the Sharks did a little better than in previous years, but in the end Chicago was the better club all around. I think the Sharks should look to trade Nabakov and replace him with someone young and talented between the pipes.

C'mon Habs - we need a miracle out of you boys. But you can do it!

If the Blackhawks win - will Anti Niemi be the first Finnish born goalie to be the starter of the Stanley Cup champs? I don't mean a backup but the #1 guy?

I thought the Habs were going to pull one out of the touque tonight, but Leighton came up big when needed. A former Hawk, I think he has run out of miracles. Hawks in 5.

I think Niemi will be the first Finnish netminder to backstop his team to the Cup. Toews for MVP...

Scott Gomez overhandles the puck way too much! I mean he's a good stickhandler and all, but when he's got open space he needs to just skate with the biscuit and quit overhandling the thing! He reminds me sometimes of a young squirt or PW in that regard with all that needless stickhandling (example: when he's carrying the puck on the PP).

He seems to have reached a point where the Habs are going to get diminishing returns on him over time.

He played good in the third period, but he didn't have a great series against Philly.

I wonder if Carcillo will see any ice time in the Finals? Or will Laviollette continue to go with Carter and LaPerierre?

Nice win by Philly. Richards is a great captain. Should be a good finals. I give the edge to Chicago as I think they have a bit more depth.
But the Hawks have the Hossa curse... ;)

I was disappointed when the Avs let Ian Laperriere walk last summer, and hope he gets his name on the Cup. Go Flyers!

how can you root for a team with Chris Pronger on it tonyhawk???

Go Hawks!
My respect for Lappy slightly outweighs my disdain for Pronger. 15 years of playing his ass off every shift of every game, and this is his first trip to the final.

No matter who wins, this should be one helluva series.

Wild one so far. Both the Chicago goals were pretty, great setup on the first, and an excellent read on the steal for the second. Leighton should have had that one though, wasn't much of a shot, what with having to settle the rolling puck and all.

fvcking shootout.
No fvcking kidding. Think Niemi will be back for the 3rd? I was a little surprised to see Leighton go after the 5th Chicago goal, since it was in no way his fault, but I guess they figured he was getting rattled at that point, and it was hardly as if he was playing brilliantly anyway.

I am about to join the "The officiating sucks" club. Five Hawk penalties v. NONE for Philly? Seabrook gat whacked in the mush, Pronger held Toews stick right in front of the ref, the ref almost blatantly intereferes w/ Bolland on the 1 v. 1 entry...wth?

Pronger playing dirty? My stars!

I'm with you though, the officiating has been spotty.
