Nope as per Leatt and POC do not cut the back plate but adjust the Leatt that it fits on the outside of the armor. With the Leatt stabilization strap it works great

"I'm using the 661 Core saver ".

imo not the best option .i was wearing a 661 core saver earlier this year and had a bad crash i ended up breaking a collar bone with it on . there's not that much protection on the core saver but it has good spine protection .

I'm wondering if anybody has tried the Ufo Reactor 2, or the Ufo Valkyrie 2(longer back protector)?

Both designed for neck brace use.
Reactor 2:

Valkyrie 2:

Last year I used an 661 Pressure Suit Pro, but always had the problem with the Leatt Brace sliding up while riding. Right now I'm riding without any upper body armor at all, which isn't the best solution either...

That just looks like a roost protector.

Seriously look into POC good protection, light weight, and very breathable.

Kali also makes the Serpa that has a removable section for a neck brace. Really good back protection, reactive chest plate

Well, it has padding everywhere and isn't just a loose piece of plastic, like most roost protectors, so I guess it would help protecting on impact. Or why do you think that it won't?
The Kali Sarpa looks nice, but I would like to have the Leatt Brace over my Jersey.

there is no protection for breaking collarbones, especially with a leatt. you might be in luck though, i heard for 2011 661 is releasing a new line specifically for collarbones, check em out at www.learnhowtocrash.com

the core saver is a great option with a leatt since you usually have to sacrifice overall padding when using a leatt.

No armor can protect your collar bone from breaking. Your collar bone breaks because of an impact on your shoulder, usually it is the weakest link, thats why its so common to break.

According to my Leatt manual, it is supposed to go under any hard plastic armor, although it can be fitted between the hard plastic and soft padding, if they are separable.

I've got a Crash Pads upper body suit that I have been testing out lately. It works flawless with a Leatt and provides more coverage than the roost guards others have posted. Compared to my previous 661 suit it is much more low profile and better fitting. For what it is worth I am 5 11/ 155 and fitting in the small/ medium size.

Please do. I think more people than me would benefit. I am thinking of doing that, but would like to see it.

Where is the verbiage to support this statement? This has been discussed on this site many times.
