This summer we are having a midweek race series called Pin the Trail. The series is six weeks long starting on July 14th through August 18th. This is a points series where the anyone can take it. The course will be open from 10 to 6. The cost for the series is $70.00 for the whole series or $15.00 per race.

The courses will be selected each week at random by a game of pin the tail on the donkey. A rider will be drawn at random, blindfolded, spun around and let loose at the course board. What ever gets pinned, we race. A course can only be selected once a season. The following weeks race course will be posted the next day on our website for practice purposes.

We have great sponsors backing us up like, Michelin, Dakine, Marin Bikes, 661, Highgear Watches, Keen Shoes, Ski Chair, and Matty B's Cafe.

I don't want to go on too long about it. If you have any questions email me at nwaterhouse@attitash.com

Thanks.

Mid week race? Really? 3 hours north of Boston. You may have a tough time getting numbers to a mid week race, especially if it is a point series over the course a few weeks. For those racers that work m-f; 8am-6pm, they will be excluded.

I certainly hope it is successful for you, and wish I could attend them. Sounds like a fun concept, but the weekday thing could be tough. Good for the locals though. Best of luck and I would love to hear about the races and nice work putting this together.

If you guys could pull this off on the weekend, I would be greatly appreciated!!! It would be a win win for Attitash and the riders!

With so many weekend races, it would be crazy to book on top of them. This sounds very much like the Whiteface mini DH series they run over the summers on Thursday afternoons - small but fun.

I would like to do a weekend series down the road, but the schedule is packed this year. We didn't have any races with other series this season but still wanted to offer up something for our regular riders and people that don't have weekends off. This will also give us a chance to develop some new race courses and see how they ride and how to improve them.

We will have results, pics, and some video on our website through out the series. I know that it's tough to do things on the midweek days for people that work a more traditional M-F schedule, but thought that we would try something a little different.

If you can only make it on the weekends check out some the courses that we are going to run and offer us some feedback. We appreciate other peoples perspective on the trails.

Maybe the Platty series can transfer the Mount Snow races to Attitash!! The trails are better at Atty! :D
