not so good. go to empirebmx.com, get a primo mix laced to a hazard lite rim with dt swiss spokes. they do free wheelbuilds there and they're the best built wheels i've ridden. that is pretty much the most bombproof, best performing wheel you can buy.

The Nitrous double shot is a cheap wheel. If you're on a budget, its a sealed hub with doubled walled rim, which is good, but its a bit on the heavy side, and the driver piece isnt really all that nice.

Its well worth the 100 dollars if you only have 100 to spend. But if you can afford more, go nicer. I sell a **** ton of them all day long at our shop, and havent seen one come back yet, but with that said, I wouldnt put one on my personal bike.

The primo mix is a bit more than i want to spend on a hub... What's wrong with the driver on the double shot? I want a decent wheel but I don't want to spend more than about $100. I'm not hard on wheels so I don't need need a rim that's indestructible.

I would think if you're not a heavy rider, don't grind and don't take drops you should be good on the nitrous wheel. Now if you're hazard hub is going out it just sounds like bearings, replacing them is a cheaper alt than a whole new wheel. I've changed my bearings out on the hub and driver maybe once a year and been going strong for some time. I grind 95% of the time I ride too. Ody hubs are the ish for the price.

I replaced my pawls and it was fine. A few days later, it started skipping again. Then it would spin few times before catching. I took it apart the other day and the hub body is stripped... so I definitely need a new one.

I weight about 160lbs and don't grind. The biggest drops I do are probably 6' at the most.

word, i was just saying that wheel you'll never have to replace. the nitrous is good for the money though.
