I rode yesterday. As a matter if fact, I was JRA on a flat trail, hit a little rock, and crashed into the bushes. Wife was trailing behind a little bit, and when she caught up, I was crashed on the side of the trail in the bushes. She was all "WTF there's no rock there."

May I make a suggestion?

Yeah, I get amused at the local TV stations warning you to stay inside and to run the AC. HTF did we make it all those 1000s of years without AC? Modern society is for pvssyies.

Someone called the Wambulance for this thread.

I did 5 2hr rides this week all in the high 90's.
Meh...I pulled 5 8-9 hour days on the farm where we hauled in over 3 thousand pounds of red potatoes, 1000 pounds each of 3 different kinds of onions, 50 20lb boxes of various tomatoes as well as weed, cultivate, prep seed beds, plant. All this with 0 shade, none, nada and in any weather. This last week was so hot that we lost 8 chickens. The day I posted this was the only weekend day of riding I've missed in of couple months.

What's your A/C set at in the jewelry store?

Actually, last week was the first time I opened the A/C vent into the studio. The heat doesn't bother me like it used to. Might have something to do with losing 48 llbs. and not being so insulated.

Mmmm, fresh veggies.

People weren't generally 90 pounds over weight.

Did a 5 hour ride on sunday. As the temps pushed 100 I had to slow myself as I felt like my brain was frying. I've pushed the limits of heat stroke enough to realize feeling chilled in such conditions is a sign to back off a little.
