888 is being worked on the ones on discounted cycling should include the adapters as well...
As far as removing everything it all pulls apart easily and or press fit with the adapters once the nut is removed from the bottom. If your worried about a bit of dive do a mid speed valve it will help with the face of jumps and brake dive... I like mine exactly where it is it killed some serious nasty berms and total junk trails...

Yes they all have a race valve in them if you want a bit more do the mid speed and they are easytoswap shims if needed... I'd start with a mid speed if it feels plush that would be the only real area I'd work on or if you 130lbs the definante lighter valving.....

And I have rode side by side dhf an d this and can say the cartridge is the goods for sure.

Yeah Roger this makes being Avalanche addicted a no brainer now. :thumb:

Just ordered a fork cart together with a rear shock :D
Can´t wait to ride them. Will post review once ridden.
What shock did you get.....

You will be floored by how well the rear shock and the cartridge go together... absolutely love pulling out my bike and ripping.. like a new ride everytime. The broken ankle. Makes it a pain to hammer down and pedal but once at speed I can still jump and rip. :D

Yeah please update/review don't be worried about playing with the adjustments they make a hell of a difference on it and the shock is as always amazing....

Craig's really moving fast.. I'm pretty damn impressed. 38mms should be on the board shortly. I know there's a lot of interest in them.. I wish all the adapters were ready to roll so others could be ripping it up as well.... I haven't been this excited about a product in a Very long time.

bullcrew I vent for the Montie. Talked to Craig about it, and he said several others have had great success with that shock on the Turner DHR. Poor guy had a shoulder surgery so he was still a bit buzzed on strong pain killers. I´ve got to order 35mm adapters for my 2010 Boxxer when available.

Yeah LOL he had surgery this morning. The chassis and the cart are SICK.... I have a buddy with a Montie on his Turner and loves it. ...

Finally I know he's been in pain with that thing for a while.

He has another couple of guys filling g in so he's still moving along. He tore the tension out of the shoulder and bicep or something to that effect. He was wrenching on a Mx bike and had a t-handle torquing when it snapped and that was it...

Yeah, I talked to him a couple of hours ago and at the middle of the conversation he just said something like:

"Dude I can't understand what you're saying anymore, I am all doped up"

Healing vibes for Craig.

Adjuster knobs with a crush zone; means when we make contact with a rock and the knob gets hammered it can be replaced with NO damage internally so its as easy as a cheap replacement knob... It will have a crush zone hes working on.

Thats the one thing Im anxiousley awaiting... Given theres no real reason after dialing it in to mess with adjusters but I like to :D and I have a small flat head in my bag on my multi tool that works so its no big deal I just want to adjust, adjust and mess with stuff.... Its there so I cant resist I need to know the effects..... :thumb:

I was just thinking and this came in to my brain again....

And as Craig says "You can have 4 ferraris sitting in the garage looking pretty but with no motor they wont go!" So to Karpi yes Craig makes sure his stuff is well thought out, reliable and performance before all else he puts his talent to work busted up or not....I honestly trust my suspension explicitly and I dont worry about casing the front end now (lol as much it still hurts going OTB :D) ...

The reason I ripped my collar bone out was landign front heavy off a big step down and the fork I had at the time cased in and SLAMMED hard sending me into it and over the edge through the bushes and down the mtn side... Had it had a hydraulic bottom out or been better valved Id still have all the tendoins from my skull to shoulder and not a gaping indent there....

Healing vibes to CRAIG!

Weights are up on the kit with adapter for 32mm and cartridge by itself..
225 g by itself and 264g with Hyd bottom out and 32mm adapter.. Now the oil volume is less so you lose a little there as well as hte parts that came out are almost spot on with the cartridge weight to begin with...

As loonatic said the list is growing fast for that platform... Im a bit surprised Id have thought the 32mm boxxers but ehh its the 35mm Boxxers that have a SOLID demand...As do 888s...

Hopefully it trickles down to the guys with 32mm boxxers its a great unit and no reason not to put one in vs buy a new fork...

NOTE: Ankle is broken so movement is limited...

Overshooting the step up, had some issues with other components so I was coming in a fair bit shy of normal...
1st is trying to compenste for a LOW psi rear tire and washout off the lip right before and the second one is me almost taking out the guys shooting pics...
The jump is 18' tip to tip and 5-6' up so go in hot up and over the landing and usually get it to flat. Almost 18' past the tip of the landing...

Fork handles jumping insane as well as tracks the berms and corners like a razor blade, I did get alot of rear wheel flex yesterday with the Big Betty on which I have no idea as to why just yet, it went BWRRRRRRR and grabbed the chainstay before launching which threw me off and acted like a brake check a bit...
So I cant say its the big bettys hooking up better than the Muddy marys even though the MMs never did this but the BBs did it on hard cornering and berms....

Just a shot to show the size of the jumps
You can see my bike in the center as this one lands in a right hand berm so its wise to whip it right mid air....

That jump looks awesome. I love hips.
So what do I have to do to get on the 888 list? I broke the damper knob off my rc3 cartridge, so no holding back now...

hips ROCK!!! thats a step up on the one Im coming in on maybe 3' less (tip 2 tip) than the pct. one, Im trying to get them to dig them all out completely now... They have removed and trenched the centers on the top 2 bigger ones finally to keep familys and XCrs from getting landed on...
They should all be doubles by mid summer if I can motivate them.

Theres a step down then to a 21' jump thats landing in a HARD left berm then upon exit (immediatley) is a 22-23' with a long run out then to the 24' with a right hand berm landing to a smaller one then the step up followed by 4 BIG doubles....

As far as the 888 crowd Id email Craig and have your name on the list. Good news is the 888 parts are on the meu right now at the machine shop for the adapter kit. Craig has that and the 35mm boxxer there so its a matter of a very SHORT wait now as in first week of August as it looks now...
I know there is a list of cartridges to be built and they are now going fast, especially with the adapters coming in.

Just email him with your 411 and fork info and have him put you in the 888 file... I grabbed my other cartridge ahead of time so theres no delay for me getting one or build time... All I need is adapters and Im set with it...:thumb:

So it doesn't have HSC adjustments?
High speed is dictated by which it should be and thats the shims and tuning, the low speed can be tuned via the adjusters... Theres no gimicks with Craig its done right, just like it should be... The way its designed you can do mid speed so theres no brake dive and very little dive off the face of jumps... I will be adding the mid speed to mine because I do jumps, stoppies, goofing off etc...

The initial set up gets you in the ballpark and the low speed tunes it from there. Craig has over 30 years in tuning and engineering as well as suspension designs etc....

Mid speed valve kit is on the site, it helps with brake dive, the fork compressing on the face of a jump, heavier riders and allows for less preload for a more plush ride without effecting the low speed......

Ill post pics of my install with it, I am going to try it and see I fit the category 235lbs, jumps and slamming into stuff :D....

Was at an endurance downhill race yesterday and managed to blow my Boxxer :(

I haven't had a chance to strip it out yet but I reckon the circlip has spazzed it's self off the bottom as they do, would the Avy cart fit and work properly with the bottom of the stanchion damaged?

No, if the bottom of the stantion is damaged b/c it spit the circlip, then you will need a new stantion either way. It hapened to me too but RS nicely warranteed it so you call them and politely explain what happened and see whats up

Feck :(

Gonna have a look at it tonight, was really hoping I'd just get away with throwing the cart in there, no chance I'll be getting a hint of warranty on a three year old fork!
