it def looks like a revolt front triangle with a tappered head tube... I like the suspension system, very much like the porpain, although it looks lighter... would hope it is! The propain weighs 4.5 kgs without shock, Like 10 pounds without a shock on

Evil is not switching from the D.E.L.T.A. link anytime soon. The new Commencal proto has a similar front end too. It seems to be the trendy thing to have a bike that looks like a bike.

more on this guy here: http://madm3chanic.pinkbike.com/album/Akuma/

curious as to why so many people keep suggesting all these single pivot manufacturers? the OP's pic is a dual link bike. yeah, sure they could change suspension but most of these companies just released new frames. doesn't seem likely they would go to a dual link bike but then again nothing should surprise us.

it may be an aluminum version of the Akuma. maybe he is going to produce a few more than for just him and select few friends.

borcester rhymes
I was going to suggest a new flatline as well....must be a slightly larger company, with the use of hydroformed tubez, must be somewhat knowledgable with integrated bumpstops, and the suspension design to me calls out "DW link knockoff"...plus the 1.125-1.5" headtube...Giant maybe?

Not to pee in anyone's Cheerioes, but how many of those bikes do you think will actually be ready for the beginning of the season?

New for 2011:
-Pivot Phoenix - Proto looks great. Have no idea about Pivot's ability to deliver on time.
-Carbon V-10 - Proto looks great; SC's delivery record isn't exactly stellar though.
-New Wilson - Still don't have protos ready for viewing. Will they have time to test and MFR?
-New Demo 8 - Seems like the safest bet.
-New Supreme - Seems somewhat safe as well, as long as there are no more RM 'Epic Fails'
-DHR dw-link - How long has this one been rumored to be just around the corner?
-Silencer - Don't know much about this.
-Nukeproof DH bike - Don't know much about this either.
-M9 - Seems like another safe bet. Steber cranks out new frames faster than his customers can max out their credit cards to buy them.
-New Lapierre - Safe bet to be produced, but will patent issues restrict distribution like the old bikes?
-This bike?? - who knows

this isn't a DW-link bike people... it's got a counter rotating upper link, which is closer to santa cruz's VPP than a DW link. The patent people at santa cruz will probably have a ball with this one. the only thing they have going for them thats different than the VPP bikes is the shock is linked to the upper link and the rear triangle instead of the frame.

that being said, looks interesting. look forward to more info.
