Hy guys
I am building a urban rig (no parks or dirt jumping to me just too old to start) to perform some newbie tricks and share with my son when he's in his trial bike.
It is a Transition Trail or park frame with a Fox Vanilla 100 and I would like to know what type of stem is better for the urban scene.
I got laying around a 40, 60 and 100 mm stems, so which one could be a better choice??

most dirt jumper and bmx stems are between 45mm and 55mm. so i would suggest the 40mm or the 60mm but not the 100mm. just for the reason that those stems would be the more appropriate fit for the design of the bike. if it was me, i wouldn't set my dirt jumper up any different for "urban" (aka 'street riding').

unless by "urban" you mean Trials. Trials bikes typically have long stems, so if you want the bike set up more like your son's you could do that. a long stem puts your weight more forward, over the front wheel. dirt jumpers and bmx riders want their weight more centered.

O.K let see

My concern was about the more appropriate for the frame design, so the 40mm is the way, and when I said my son trials i must said TRIAL since is a Monty 219
