Need Help from the Wrench Monkeys!!

I'm currently in Afghanistan..thats for start. My 2004 Ironhorse Hollowpoint Team (Yellow/black paint) is at home in the US. I need to replace my rear shock. (5th Element Air) but I cannot find a fit guide. I blew the shock while at home on leave and thats the 3rd time this has happened...so out with 5th...in with something else. I am unable to find anything on eye-to-eye measurements, stroke or a 5th element shock guide to assist.

Please help. I'm looking to either get a rocco, x fusion or fox as a replacement and have considered changing over to a shorter oil/coil...due to the fact that I tend to ride aggressively. I love the frame and the way it handles.

Please help and you will have my eternal gratitude!!

Bill.

This frame design?

If it is, I can measure one on Wednesday.

As far as shocks go, for that bike I would recommend the Roco. The dw-link works best without a platform, which the fox has, the Roco does not. I have no experience with x-fusions.. so can't say.

I put a Roco on a friends Hollowpoint (newer frame than above) and it works very well.

If memory serves, I believe the hollowpoint team uses a 165mm i2i with a 38mm stroke.
