Sick! Looked pretty effortless. And I'm glad to see they put in some features on those "dead" trails around the wooden jumps (ski-jump step-down & scoop).

Out of curiousity though, and in general... at what point did it become mandatory for all amateur edits to use a Rise Against song? There are like at least five other good bands out there.

Man, riding a huck bike with the damping ran stiff must make that trail a dream. But on my DH bikes over the years, that trail has frustrated the snot out of me. DH bikes act like a sponge on that whole thing. Minor complaint though...it rocks.

Set it up with a platform midway through the travel, That is how mine feels, I would never consider it stiff. If you "ride" and "flow" the jump it makes a huge difference aside from just ramming into it. I probably explained that pretty poorly, but i tried my best.

I8RICE, next 1 is rocks, we are thinking deceit to ripper

Once you get to ride its not that bad. Sure its does not have the elevation to pull you down as A-line but its doable.

Deceit to ripper is an awesome run. You finish those trails and you really feel like you just DID something.

Looking forward to that video. Deceit is actually a great place to shoot video, I think. Not a fast trail (neither is ripper) but there are some very wide sections with a ton of different lines, places to set up interesting camera angles.

Plus I think it's a trail that I don't think I've ever seen video of. Which is really a shame. It's one of Diablo's gems, in my opinion.

I'm 37. Been racing DH since the early 90's and moto before that. 8 inches of DH travel tweaked any way you like still sucks up a low speed table top without tons of effort.

Not dissing Dominion. I love it every time I ride it. I'm saying I'd love to hit it on a stiffer, short travel bike to get more pop with less effort.

Careful what you wish for imo, i ride my banshee wildcard on that to get to the slalom races, its horrible, it jumps easier and with less effort, but i feel that the little subtle bumps and rumble strips that we dont notice suddenly come out, i prefer it on the DH bike. Either way its certainly worth a shot to see if you like it

Nice riding bro, very smooth. What bars do you have? I've been searching for some that are shaped like that. Thanks

Real nice. I had given up on diablo and have been going to highland since they have a top to bottom jump trail and better trails overall. Guess its time to head back...

The nose manny >> manual was sick.

Looks like a fun park--definitely will have to check it out someday.
