Starting to get it put back together. Gotta put the new brake pads in, adjust everything like the BB put the derailer on then the chains. Might get some white decals from Brooklyn.

i turned em around cuz i thought they'd look beeter that way...it doesn't make a diff does it?
makes a difference. the splines are designed to distribute the force from the outer edge into a radially centering force at the hub. if you run it how you have it, the possibility exists of shearing the rotor outer part (against brake pads) off the inner part (bolted to hub)

Sniped!
I spent the last 10 minutes trying to figure out how to explain that. :thumb:

looks good! needs a bit more red to go with that chainwheel...I thought you were going red on the swingarm too. Lose the saddle and slam the bars and you'll have a ripper. I always had trouble with the offset on the avy fork on that bike, but maybe you'll have better luck. I think I was just too tall for the TT.

Would love to pick up another one for cheap and try and modernize it slightly...that and my sunday are worlds apart.

All you need.
Been there done that and heres the outcome! ;)
(I like Tyler alot his stuff is kick @$$ but side by side theres no comparison and my shins prove that,,, They actually are healed and look normal since switching and those were better than my expedos and others I had.

I run a twenty6 stem and would run his levers, gas caps etc but the crampon is a better pedal all the way around. Not as bling but outdoes every other pedal Ive ridden. Not that the bros are perfect or fan boy Id rock these by anyone and the NEW ones I tapped and replaced the stock pins with longer ones so I had 1 downfall but Ive had that same downfall on all pedals including my twenty6's... Pins are always lacking or in most cases...

you can also get a brake bar from therapy components...they do carbon fiber with red tie rod ends...could lighten it up/make it look cool.

short shock and/or longer custom links to slack & drop the thing might be interesting...
basically...shocks have come a long ways since the only option was avy. plus the whole thing is steel so you could theoretically re-weld the entire front end to get a slacker HA and lower BB and longer TT while doing little else to the rear end....but I can't weld and I don't have a huge disposable income...hopefully the charger drops soon.
