For the ROCO World Cup and TST-R:
Progressive main piston compression valving, faster small bump response, mid and high speed rebound valving set to spring rate, better high speed blowoff of compression adjuster, anti-bottoming shape factor shaft bumper, improved shaft seal for longer life and lower stiction.

Includes typical wear parts - low stiction shaft seal, dust scraper, shaft bushing, reducer DU bushings, o-rings and new shape factor anti-bottoming bumper

Assumes shock is in good mechanical condition i.e. no dents in shaft, cracked bridges or broken eyes, and able to maintain air pressure

Nitrogen charged, no more messing with air pressure, speed sensitive damping is not affected by the reservoir pressure

Custom Valving set-up for rider ability, type of terrain, and frame linkage rates

Progressive high speed rebound set for spring rate to optimize the free bleed system.

Not available as self install kit

send your shock to Avalanche and get the Avalanche Advantage

Fox DHX 5.0 High/Low Independent Adjuster Kit 3/4/5 dhx's

Replaces ProPedal Adjuster with an Independent high/low speed compression adjuster system in the existing Fox piggyback housing. This conversion complements
the revalved main piston to completely convert the DHX to a true speed sensitive damper.

Includes revalve and setup for rider, frame and conditions.

Also includes complete rebuild service, new improved seals, oil, nitrogen charge and typical wear parts* included in price

*(Typical wear parts: shaft seal, dust scraper, shaft bushing, reducer DU bushings, and o-rings)

Optional shape factor bottom-out bumper available

Not available as a self install kit.
Low speed adjustment - 22 clicks gold knob

High speed adjustment - 2.75 turns blue knob

Optional blow off springs to tune out high speed harshness and dial in bottoming control
soft-medium-hard

Same damping design as the high/low speed Avalanche adjuster

Installs directly into the DHX housing, No machining or adaptors required

Improved Seal for longer life and lower stiction, old seal in blue, new seal in black

Progressive main piston compression valving, faster rebound valving set to spring rate, better high speed blowoff of compression adjuster, and anti-bottoming shapefactor shaft bumper.

the direct install for the DHX is awesome
Cheaper, you know its going to fit, easily adapts to the DHX 3, 4, 5 so now take that 3 and race tune it.... Its going to be sweet I heard a bit on the roco stuff and aparently they are pretty damn amazing. I dont ride one but Im trying to tie down a review with one of the several that are out now and have been beet on.

Will this work with the remote reservoir DHX 5 for DHRs? When is it available?

Im working on getting the review from the guys that are sporting it... Theres several out there (different places) I just need the connection so I can evaluate... After talking to Craig, between the seasl, machining and modifications valving etc its supposed to really open these up and give it a full on race tune....
Wish I had a roco Id try it but I laready have one of his creations on hte rear of the bike...

Schweeet....been waiting for someone to come out with some customized stuff for the Roco since Push stopped doing their thing on them. Looks like I have just found new/better way to get my Roco equip'ed dh bike through the rest of the year...and next if the budget doesn't allow for a new one this winter.

For the ROCOs:
Craig opens up the range of adjustment, reworks/machines the piston, new seals tuning and a few other items to it so its ALOT more than a simple tune its more of a rework and definently a race tune item...

Ill try and get an answer but I doubt it as the bridge is whats being utilized for the modifications... Not to say theres not a fix for the resi style but it would have to be reengineered for that and it wouldnt be cost effective for the amount of them out there..
I called Craig, and he thought that the AVA kit should work for the DHR remote resi DHX5, because it uses the same propedal knob and guts. I'm going to send my shock in to him to get the final word whether it will take the upgraded internals. Fingers crossed. :thumb:

Nice hopefully it does, the nice part is NO need to remove the bridge and add a bunch of stuff like others Craig knows how to use existing stuff as long as its decent and make it work great...:thumb:

We don't add a bunch of stuff, only the bridge component. We didn't have to do it, but did simply because it addresses the fit issues that some frames have with the end of the reservoir hitting the frame.

Craig told me the adjusters are not done yet. Waiting for material at the machinists. He said it should be 3 weeks.
Yeah I figured you were talking upon shipping a unit in how long does it take to service and send back.
Yeah hes a short pop out parts are ordered and should be in quickly... Im pretty excited if the shock fits now it will fit when done....

Apologies if this has already been asked/answered, but do you know if Craig has any intentions of tuning air shocks?

Any word on availability for the DHX kit? Still in a "Pre-Order" status on the Avy website.
From what I gathered its being finalized (machined and stocked) so it should be soon....
I am anxious to ride one, Id love to put some saddle time on the DHX AVY modded I hated the stock DHX it kept trying to bounce the seat and pry my @$$ open on hard hits...
If I were more open minded it might be OK but married and to set in my ways to start a new fetish!;)

Hac! Thoughts on Hadleys??????

I got a set from a buddy (blue) and Im lacing them to some amvics with some custom work done and just kind of curious as to your personal thoughts on them If I remember your pretty familiar with them... Love 'em. Won't run anything else if I'm spending the money (except the Stealth front hub I still have). SUPER easy to service, local, bombproof, ultra high quality.

They're located in Upland or Claremont somewhere.
