Morning monkeys!

On the east coast for the first time. It is before 7 am here and it's 80 degrees and 81% humidity. Waiting for a flight from Charlotte NC to Norfolk VA with the wife. I have slept about an hour in the last 24 hours.

Morning. Is a bit muggy out, but then again, it's August. Put big boy road tires on the road bike last night and retired the cross tires it had. Have a sudden urge to shave mah legs.

Hello, monkeys! Welcome to Thursday. Try to behave.

Thunderstorms rolling through this morning, which means I'll probably find dog poop on the floor when I get home from work.

Good morning! Struggled through a ride last night, it was too hot and humid, sucked all the energy out. Still managed to put in a few miles though. Hopefully the weather holds out for tonight so I can try it again.

On a side note, for those sweatier guys out there, how do you keep it out of your eyes while riding? Seems like every bump I hit a rain shower falls into my eyes and it is getting annoying.

Good morning, everyone! I'm starving, heading down to the caf to get an omlet.

I hate to group myself in with the "sweatier guys" but I can't ride without a Halo headband. Have a great day everyone!

Good Morning!!

As teh Heckler mentioned, it's a real humid day around here. I'm back at the office, but I'm tired and sore from the last two days out in the field. I had to run about 400ft of PVC pipe in the attic space of a peanut research facility for a high-purity water system we're installing. It was about 115 degrees up there and I spent 20 hours crawling through mouse poop and insulation to get it done. The toughest part was that it was all drop-in ceiling--so I had to craw on the tops of the partition walls while gluing and supporting along the way...and trying not to fall through in the process. I was happy to be out of there yesterday evening.

Got home really late, but found my package from Universal Cycles and ended up staying up later putting new cables on the bike. :thumb:

Car shopping still blows. Found what I was looking for, thanks to stevew, ('06 Volvo V70 with a manual trans) but the Carfax on it is SCARY. Drove a V50 yesterday and it was fine to drive, but I don't fit in the passenger seat. At all. Our favorite dealer just got another '06 V70 in, but it's got more mileage than I want, and it's an auto.

Morning monkeys!

Rockin' da hood in Trumbull. Hot and muggy today, sweating like nobody's business.

Did some cardio last night.

Being one of the sweaters, I rock a do rag when I ride. Helps keep the buckets of sweat out of my eyes.

Out of my mind, back in a moment.
Been ages since posting in here.

Light schedule in the morning, jam packed in the afternoon. Should be done with patients by 5:45 and home by 6:15. Probably no ride tonight due to the pending rain. Maybe tomorrow before heading to a memorial service with the wife.

Dancin' over rocks n' roots!
T-storms just rolled through and hopefully that means the humidity is out of here as well. Lots of paperwork that I am working on today so I can play tomorrow!

I sweat a lot from my head too and I squeeze it out of my helmet often when I am riding and I make sure to rinse my helmet and let it dry between rides, so I don't get as much in my eyes...I too have been seeking alternatives, but haven't settled on any one yet.
