My buddy Eric and I made a road-trip up to Tahoe last weekend. It is my last weekend before my wife and I have a kid so I wanted to enjoy my time before I bocome a responsible "daddy". (like that will ever happen).

First some shots from the camp site... where I tried to get all Artsy-fartsy.

Some nice scenery shots from camp:

Now the shots you really wanna see:

And contrary to popular opinion a certain Hope Cult Member #1 DOES ride his bike every so often.

From there we went to Dville but no pics form there. Just a lot of flats.

Thanks Dude... Widh you could have been there. Next time we will have to coordinate a bit. And I KNOW that there will be a next time. They drive was actually not as bad as I expected. Took about 10 hrs to get there with a flat tire on the truck and traffic in Stocton, but only 8hrs heading home.

Nice - too bad I missed it.

A co-worker of mine went to Downieville the previous weekend... his buddy went OTB and dislocated his shoulder. They had to make a sling from tubes and hike out. They were only about 1/4 the way in...

That rock roller to wood bridge section is a treat! It looks bigger at the top, and there is a gap between the rock and the wood that looks like it will pitch you if you hit it wrong.
