I am but have never done one. I am not sure of what I would have to do to actually perform the ceremony though. I was "ordained" for sh1ts and giggles more than anything.

I know a great rev (he performed the ceremony when I got married) but don't know how far he'll travel.

I have no idea where I am
I've thought about it since I make wedding bands. It would be awesome to see the look of shock and terror on the guy's face when they come to pick up their rings. " You know folks, not only am I a metalsmith, but I'm also an ordained minister. I can go ahead a marry you two right now here in the studio. "

I am looking into it to officiate for my cousins wedding. I'd like the title of High Priest or maybe Jedi Master

Ciaran who did you go through?

Their's a story there. Do tell
Was in Anchorage, about 1992. Housemate was talking about marrying his HS sweetheart who was in Texas. I thought it would be cool to marry someone, like Captain Stuebing on the Love Boat. One night she tells me they want to get married on the phone...I say "Hey, let me officiate" she says sure. He and I get me a JP for the day so I can officiate. We get drunk, I says "Do you?" he says "Yup." I says "Does she?" He says "Yup." We sign the docs and get drunker. He tells me he will send her the paperwork to sign. He never does, has his girlfriend(!) sign them on behalf of his beloved. HS sweety never knew about this deal. He proceeds to collect money as a married guy (We were military types...) and HS girl goes on thinking they were dating and talking about marriage. I learn all this at his courts martial a few years later...

When I was doing law enforcement type stuff, we once had our boss dress as a justice of the peace to perform a marriage between a cooperating defendant and the marriage-fraud ring-supplied bride...

We were going to have a friend ordained to do our ceremony, but ended up being married civilly long before the actual wedding party. Alas, all he had to do was show up and talk...we'd been hoping to get him ordained in some wacky comet-worshipping religion. (Or just pay the $50 fee in CA at the time to get him a license...)

It was great to meet you today. Zark's wedding was great. Lot's of fun... beer bongs and keg stands! Now that's a fun wedding!
