Well another day, another rescheduled house closing. LOL. We had arrangements for 7:30 this morning. Yada yada yada, now it's 7:30 tonight, though I bet the wife $2 that it'll get rescheduled again. :weee:

I'll spend the better part of tomorrow getting the house ready for the wife's family to come over tomorrow evening. Sunday will be a "let's go get lost" mtb ride. HOORAY!

Anxiously awaiting replies to this thread....

Hey-O! Happy Friday. I plan to do a get lost road bike ride tomorrow myself, going to explore the Amish areas down here in SoMD.

Heading to Hawaii on Sunday, another work trip. But, there will be Kona Coffee Porter to be had, soooo...

Morning - I had to get creative to get the kids to school on time this morning due to several accidents on I-84 East - but I was able to weave through W. Hartford and Hartford to get them there with a minute to spare!!

I am looking forward to the clouds disappearing today and for a sun filled weekend.

Lots of hockey on tap this weekend too!

just found out that an old friend of mine was in a bad car accident a couple of weeks ago. i've known this guy since we were in first grade!! guess he's got a shattered hip, multiple bone breaks and other nasty stuff. looking to go see him tomorrow with a couple of others who we were in first grade together with. say what you want about Facebook, but without it i would never have known and would never have reconnected with these people.

Saturday is dedicated to cutting and hauling the rest of our winter firewood out of the woods. My blades are sharpened and ready, the tractor (w/cart) is gassed up, now just I wish I owned a Timberjack though..... Hopefully next weekend I can start splitting it.

Damn, we wanted to do that but the house values have dropped so much here that our LTV ration is right on the border so we're not sure if we could so it.

Morning all! Nice evening at home with the family. We had a nice family dinner, helped Syd with her homework, which meant we drank beer while she cut out pictures, glued them to her page and colored in the empty spaces and gave her lots of "great job honey" comments. Then we hit the hot tub and went to bed early...it's been a long week!

Ride with the guys tonight, bonfire and a night ride tomorrow night and taking Syd to a gymnastics birthday party on Sunday.

Exhausted from my cousin's wedding last night. Honestly, who has their wedding on a Thursday night? Ugh. Nothing like getting up at 6am after being out until 1am.

Caught the biggest fish of my life tonight off the side of the boat. I have pics, but can't upload using 3G Internet.
Took about 10 to 15 minutes to land him, put up a hell of a fight!
Someone jumped in the boat's dinghy to help land him, broke the landing net.
Half the size of me. I'll stick pics up when I get wifi access... Or someone can steal them from my facebook.

I guess you can get a great rate if the venue was in a hotel.
