How many dizzy bats do you need to do before the race? Is there dizzy bat practice on Saturday?

Move to Montana and forget everything, don't you? The dizzy bat practice is replaced by cheap Idaho beer and the twisty shuttle road to the top. Last one to lose their lunch gets 5 bonus seconds on their race run!

I remember when Round and Round was running things at the Beacon races back in the day, and they waived my entry fees if I drove the shuttle for a couple hours during practice. That was very irresponsible of them.
I thought racers would appreciate it if I got them to the top as quick as possible, but it turns out they like it better if they don't get beat to hell on the ride up.

I learned that same lesson the first time I drove a shuttle truck. unknown to me, you FEEL like your're going fast in the back of the truck when you really aren't.

Ya, that trail doesn't really get 'muddy'. Just wet and tacky. I always felt it was a lot faster in the rain. You can't really stop on the steeps and roots, and the turns rip! Disappointed I couldn't make it this year.

Wettest, muddiest, most awesome conditions ever! U-haul slid off the road, fireworks went off, insane moto whoops, crazy off camber sections, impossible jumps, awesome. Seriously, that was so much fun today. Keepng it upright without crashing was an accomplishment! People showed up from as far away as Tahoe CA!

Graeme crashed in the last corner of the course (the hard stump turn at the bottom) if you're wondering. More results to follow.

Looks like quite a large CAT II turnout in most age groups. Terrific! How many of the race events in the series got sent to USA Cycling? Nice going Eastsiders!
All of the All Gravity Series races are USA cycling races. The turnout in Moscow was awesome. I was really impressed with how well the sport and beginners rode that course in the wet. Some of those sections were VERY hard. Next year we have plans for some more beginner friendly routes.
