Emailed elka but no reply, anyone else running one on a round tube non DW turner?? Found the below info which is a year old but nothing since.. Can u run it the other way around and file a small amount of material from the link?? If not what are my other options double barrel, rc4??

I have been playing with a Stage 5 on my 08 DHR for most of the summer. There is slight contact between the frame and hi & low speed compression adjust knobs.
Elka is working on a solution to this for Turner owners who want to run the Stage 5 shock.

1soulrider rode a medium and it was a tight fit, another buddy rode a small 08 Turner and had to grind alot of the frame to make the Elka fit.
Wouldnt happen to have any pics of it in the medium? So he didnt have to do any grinding on his medium frame??

thanks for your help

To fit your DHR you will need to remove the H/L compression knobs, even then there is minor contact with the frame. Not enough to do any damage just scratch the paint a bit.
It's up to you weather doing this is worthwhile to run the Elka shock. Personally I felt it greatly improved the ride quality of my DHR.

The photo shows the fit of the shock with knobs still attached, under compression the shock rotates up slightly causing the contact.

1soulriders got the only way to fit it. You cant fit any shock in the frame if you rotate it backwards, would have to remove a lot of material from the link. Personally id just get the double barrel. I emailed elka a few months agi and they said they were working on a remote resevoir one, but havent heard anything since. My main reason for getting rid of my turner was because i couldnt fit alot of shocks on it. the dhx blows on the dhr, roco feels quite good on it. havent tried the dbl barrel on it though.
