My own world inside my head
If I can feel a lip on the outside of the rotor, is it time to change them? Or have them turned?

I can swap out a rotor and set of pads myself. Am debating if it's just cheaper to toss new ones on myself than take to a mechanic for a possible turn.

$5.00 on it's way to you thru the net as we speak.:thumb:

If you can feel a lip its time to a least get them tirned, generally at that point you have either gone metal to metal, or just slapped pads once or twice.

As to if you should turn or replace, mic them up and see what you have left, if less than .020... replace them, youll need .020 for a proper turn, but check the price for new ones before turning anyways...... some cars you woul dbe amazed how cheap new ones are anyways
