Well if anyone could make nascar exciting, it would be him! Double backflip!
It takes less skill than rally. 
What to make of it?
1) He's loaded
2) He loves to drive anything powerful
3) He most likely has ADD

at least he knows how to drive loose, which is a major factor in nascar.

Sometimes I see something in the news and I just know it's going to be a thread here.
Its funny that towards the end of the video it shows him making a right turn onto the track.

i was gonna ask how he could do a backflip in a nascar, but i guess give it time. I expect he won't do well. Nascar is pretty competitive and figured out...it's not a sport where driver skill has much of an effect as rally or motocross.
but whatever...epic burnouts will ensue i'm sure.
The cars do rollover from time to time. Not that I would know.
i think Michael Waltrip knows what he is doing.
unless he jumps over the field during the race, then it wont catch my interest at all. plus, its the Nationwide series....thats Busch league sh!t right there (literally)
Going to be actually a bit interesting in 2011. Carmichael and Pastrana in Nationwide. It will end up being a tie, 0 wins each.

Red Bull is just his personal sponsor, not his main sponsor. they already have a fully-supported team, though it wouldnt be nothing new for them to field a multi-car field. they do it in F1 w/ 4 cars and plenty of other forms of races
Why not, it pays pretty well even if you don't win. He will at least get paid and get to hang out with even bigger rednecks than the Jackass crew.
