I know a couple kids that said their classes were empty on Weds. Mainly all the boys weren't there and were home playing CoD.

i'm sorry I kicked your dog, but I thought 'merka being invaded by ruskies was way more creative than "hey I was in nam and now i'm a tweaker". And the team AI sucked, not the enemies. That was OK, but when a guy just walks right past your teammate, it's a little wacky.

my 45-60 ping is not causing the lag. My 40-60 ping in CSS, MW1, L4D, etc does not cause me lag in those games. It's likely some sort of glitch with my processor or video card, but my machine has no trouble with any other game...
That's exactly what I heard but saying "half" made it more believable. The actual wording was "he was the only guy in class that day". Wow...online combat kills kids brAnzuh!

Yeah 360...it sucks. I'm guessing they're going to come out with a patch. Gears of War 2 had this same problem (but even worse).

I don't really know what you're trying to say here, but a tweaker CIA special operative going up a river in a boat, blowing up everything in his path, all to kill a rogue government agent...they should turn that into a movie! oh wait... or the russian roulette part! That would be awesome if they made a movie out of....oh wait. Come on, they hashed together every vietnam movie they watched in high school and threw in some james bond for good measure. They did it well, don't get me wrong, but the whole "think outside the box" thing evaded them.
Also, the historical inaccuracies were killing me. The SPAS-12 wasn't designed until the late 70s, not 68. The G11 wasn't even developed until the late 70s/early 80s. The MP5k, the AUG....they couldn't do a tiny bit of research to figure out what was actually around back then?
did they have cheat codes back then too?
I assure you that my inability to connect to a match isn't due to my internet connection. A quick google search reveals that it's a common problem. Hope they come out with a patch soon.

No graphical improvement over MW2 (in fact it actually sucks more...). The gun sounds are crap compared to MW2...some of them sound like someone hitting a pan with a drumstick instead of a weapon of death...I'm with sandwich on the team AI...bleh. He didn't even attempt to show me the MP because he was having the same issues as everyone else here.
I never consult game review mags. I also never read movie reviews. My experience is my experience. Treyarch should stick to Tony Hawk. Don't mess with my "war" experience.
i "bought" the game for the single player too.
If my main comp weren't being such a whore and crashing all the time (corrupted main user profile that i'm too stupid to stop using...) i'd be having more fun with it.
my verdict is MW2>Black Ops
but as I said before StarcraftII is holding my attention.

Played a few rounds of MW2 earlier to convince myself out of buying it because I normally get so aggravated with it I rage quit but I actually went 11-2 and 12-4 this is after not playing for several months and my score is normally the opposite of that... perhaps it's a sign?

it does seem leveling up is much faster now and prestige level is past 50, not 70 of MW2
I'm at 46. A few people are into first prestige already.
ive been getting paired with more and more people in the first level of Prestige and some in level 2

BO was crap. MW3 isn't perfect, but it's 10x the game BO is. I'm guessing BO is a lot easier now that nobody good is playing?
It was worth my $20 buying it used. I'm not super impressed with it but it's a good time waster. Especially Nazi Zombies. Campaign mode sucks, and Multiplayer is ok, but nobody ever changes up what they do so I can just run laps on the map and rack up kills so it gets boring after a while.and BlOps is/was?

Which map? Solo I hit 30 on everything but five, 40 with a friend except for five, I think we got to like 25 on there.
Then again, I never really even played B ops, all I ever really played with my homies was zombies
